Martin just returned home from the "Fragrant Harbour," Hong Kong where he was working to launch the newest Disney Theme park by contributing Audio Consultation for the Lion King Theater in Adventureland and Storybook Theater in Fantasyland. The park opened on September 12th, 2005.

Here are some good shots of the work done at Hong Kong Disneyland to help mount the productions of Festival of the Lion King and Golden Mickey's:

LCS provided Routing and Spacemapping for the Lion King Theater	And StoryBook Theater's Golden Mickeys used LCS as well as a PM1D in the hotseat	Theater's not all fun and games. Gotta hang the speakers first.

In Hong Kong I made friends with the sweetest couple of Bar owners in town, Ifat and Steven and on August 24th Heardrum's own Heliarc reprised some DJ talents that had been on Hiatus for almost 5 years...

MARTIN CARRILLO WINS 2004-2005 LA OVATION AWARD FOR BEST SOUND DESIGN

The ceremony was held on November 15th th at the historic Orpheum Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. The award is for his co-design of Romeo and Juliet Antebellum New Orleans with Julie Ferrin. Paul Hepker was also recognized in this category for his original music.

Martin would like to thank Steve, Bugg, and Jodi at LCS Audio in Sierra Madre as well as the big cheese in Canada --John McMahon-- for their support and continued technological brilliance.

Martin would also like to thank Director Michael Michetti, Artistic Co-Director Jessica Kubzansky, Producers Eileen T'Kaye, and Z Clark Branson, as well as fellow designers Dan Weingarten and Alex Jaeger. Thank you Michael Seel for your hard work keeping all of us together.

Special thanks go to Jennifer Sheffer for calling a great show, and Karl the Mixer gets mad props for keeping everything well oiled. Thank you all.
